AFNC is proud to partner with Centre de sante Communautaire Hamilton-Niagara Inc. (CSCHN) to strengthen pathways for older adults across the Niagara Region. This initiative promotes healthy aging by providing opportunities for older adults to build social connections, develop new skills, contribute through volunteer leadership, and remain active participants in their communities. Through workshops and community engagement activities, participants are supported in building confidence, enhancing well-being, and fostering a stronger sense of belonging while helping to create more age-friendly communities across Niagara.
Together, AFNC and CSCHN are bridging the gap between ideas, action, and impact by helping older adults contribute their knowledge, experience, and leadership while strengthening community capacity throughout the region. If you are interested in attending a workshop, drop us a line.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Government of Canada through the New Horizons for Seniors Program. We thank the Government of Canada for its commitment to community engagement, supporting older adults, and fostering social connections that contribute to healthy aging and vibrant, resilient communities.
